EMU Growth Partners (hereinafter “EMU” or “we”) processes the personal data of data subjects to manage client relationships, enable communications with clients and fulfil contractual agreements. In addition, EMU collects analytics data on website visitors.

In addition to individual clients, EMU has institutional clients and collaboration partners whose representatives’ personal data may be processed as part of EMU’s client register. The personal data of representatives of institutional clients is used only to target communications and marketing efforts aimed at the institution.

Please note that this privacy policy only applies to the processing of personal data where EMU is the data controller.

To provide a service or fulfil a contractual agreement

Contact information used for client communications and statistical data generated from EMU’s electronic systems are transferred to servers located in the United States. As per EU data protection law, the protection of data is the duty of these service providers.

In exceptional cases, we may disclose personal data to parties with whom we have a valid agreement that requires that the party be committed to limiting the use of the personal data and to following, at a minimum, the privacy and data protection standards outlined in this privacy policy.

We have put in place administrative, organisational, technical and physical safeguards to protect the personal data that we collect and process. Our safety measures are designed to maintain an appropriate security level that ensures the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of these data.

Only persons whose duties entitle them to process personal data may process personal data. The use of personal data is protected by appropriate personal user identification, passwords and access rights.

 

11. Lodging a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you feel that EMU’s use of personal data violates data protection law.
